Kelly Brownell is one of those big-government proponents getting more and more unpopular by the day. Their hypocrisies are being exposed, their lies debunked and their agenda and motives made all too clear (that they’re not kosher by any stretch). Here’s an example.
“The Associated Press reported a few years ago that Big Brother Brownell said he got a little bigger due to snacking and decreased physical activity while he wrote his book… ”
Yup, I’d say there’s a bit of a paunch on that boy, wouldn’t you? (Once upon a time that was a sign of prosperity for a man – how things change).
Mr. Brownell, it appears you are jealous of the man who has the strength, conviction and ability to take charge of his own life and health. That’s not very “manly”. Nor is it worthy of respect. In fact, it’s rather childish. If Mr. Brownell is truly an advocate for reducing obesity etc. he would be praising this man and giving him the credit that’s due for hard work and perseverance in a very difficult and trying situation.
But no, he isn’t “big” enough to do that. He wants government to be “big enough” to do it for you. Sad.
In any event, Brownell admits it was his own lifestyle choices that led him to put on weight - yet puts down a man worthy of cheering on who lost 175 pounds off a 400 pound frame using nothing but personal responsbility for his own health and weight loss needs.
Perhaps the best advice we could give Brownell (both policy and dietary) is for him to shut his mouth. It doesn’t require heavy-handed government policies to do, and it works 100 percent of the time.
Couldn’t agree more. Major kudos to ConsumerFreedom.com for this “expose”: Brownell: Personal Responsibility Doesn’t Work (Except When it Does)

Two women filed claims against Jillian Michaels, a celebrity trainer from NBC’s The Biggest Loser, for convincing them to purchase weight loss supplements that turned out to be bogus.
The 3 products Ms. Michaels sells are:
- Jillian Michael’s Calorie Control
- Jillian Michaels Fat Burner
- Jillian Michaels Quick Start
All of these diet pills contain large quantities of caffeine, to the point that is advised you do not really consume caffeine via any other means. Basically, they sound like nothing more than over-dosing on caffeine – not a good thing to do.
Just because some big-name is tossed behind a product, that doesn’t mean the product is legit; it just means Mr./Ms Big-Name can’t get enough in their bank account and doesn’t really care about your weight loss problems.
When looking for diet products, watch ingredients carefully, look for medical approval and certification. Forget those “celebrities” and their so-called endorsements.
“America’s Toughest Trainer“, indeed.

Snacks seem to be the latest “on the attack” by the self-declared food police.
One article, which attacks children’s snacking habits, rudely stated the following:
Apparently, we have collectively decided as a culture that it is impossible for children to take part in any activity without simultaneously shoving something into their pie holes. Source: Snack Time Never Ends
(Their “pie holes”?) Well, children are active. Children are growing. Together these factors make for some seriously hungry kids. Seems it’s been that way since time began…why should today’s kids be any different? The after-school-snack has been a “staple” of the American diet for so long recipes are named after it.
And for us adults, snacking can be healthful. In the case of diabetics, utterly necessary. Snacks play an important role in the daily life of a diabetic, particularly those with type 1 diabetes and insulin-requiring type 2 diabetes. (See Snacks: Healthy Necessity in a Diabetic Diet)
In fact, there are New Snack Ideas that are healthy, Smart and healthful snacks for kids and adults to enjoy on an every day basis. There are healthy alternative snacks, and downright Smart Snacks we can eat.
The American Dietetic Association recently offered up suggestions as “Healthy Pyramid Snacks“.
Don’t fall into all this stuff and nonsense about the big, bad snack. Avoid all the hype and just use common sense and all will be well…we promise.
Consider: Quick 100 Calorie Snacks and/or One Hundred Calorie Snack Packs.

Fatigued, hungry and stressed? One of the things I remember best about my weight loss journey was the constant, nagging hunger pangs and the stress and fatigue that came with fighting them off, feeling irritable (because I was hungry!) and not knowing what to do about it – besides eat, that is.
DaySlim to the rescue. DaySlim curbs those insufferable hunger pangs AND gives you an energy boost that is all natural, making you feel GOOD, not jittery or nervous.
How I wish this product was available when I was dieting – but I’ve learned it’s great for weight maintainence, as well.
Using DaySlim
You can drink the bottled amount of Dayslim for a natural energy boost, in addition to appetite control, or you can take it a teaspoon at a time and still get results.
Everyone is different – if you’re concerned how your body might respond to DaySlim, start out with a teaspoon at a time and build up until you’re at the point you’re feeling your best and controlling your appetite to your desired ability. If you try the 2-teaspoon at a time approach, wait about 20 to 30 minutes before you decide if you need more.

When Should You Drink Your Day Slim?
Much depends on your lifestyle. Here are a few ideas:
Morning: Not a morning person, but have to start your day early? Let DaySlim help you get your act together. One bottle will get you going strong.
After Lunchtime: Research shows that over 70 percent of us feel fatigued after lunch. DaySlim helps you have an alert, productive afternoon.
Workouts: Looking for motivation to workout? Drink your DaySlim about 1-hour before your workout.
Travel: Do you drive for a living or travel on frequently? DaySlim can help you overcome travel fatigue and keep you alert behind the wheel.
Weekends/Vacations: Many of us are week-end warriors due to time constraints, and that requires a lot of energy. DaySlim can give you the extra boost you need.
College: Cramming all night for an exam? What goes well with this all-nighters? Pizza, soda, chips, cookies, doughnuts…you get the idea. Have a DaySlim instead. You’ll be able to study better, too. Besides those all-nighters, how often do we hear about college weight gain? Use DaySlim and “nip it” before it’s too late.
Benefits of DaySlim
Energy. Feel sharp and focused for hours without the crash or jitters of sugary and/or caffeine laden beverages. Ginseng is the energy-enhancing ingredient in DaySlim. Ginseng was recommended for enlightening the mind and increasing wisdom by the famous Chinese Emperor Shen Nung.
Appetite Suppression. A clinical dose of 2,000mg of hoodia gordonii in each bottle of DaySlim is the magic bullet for appetite suppression. It’s in liquid form and tastes great. So by simply drinking Dayslim just before you expect to experience your daily food cravings you can enjoy a reduction in appetite for up to 5 hours!

The holidays have passed and you have taken a look at what all those family meals and holiday sweets have done to your waistline.
While you may have a lot of mental motivation to get on a diet, getting the physical motivation to back it up is not always easy. If your body is used to being at rest, it may not like the concept of getting up and moving on a regular workout schedule.

This is where adding a fat burner to your diet can jump start your diet and weight loss.
You know of fat burners as the things that will help you lose weight by increasing your metabolism and making your body burn off more calories. Well, this is true, they will do that and boost some of your weight loss on their own and really give you a great jumpstart to your diet. But they will also help you in other ways – motivation and energy.
On the motivation front, you will love the motivation that adding fat burners to your diet gives you. When we start a new diet, we all want to see immediate results. This is what you will be able to get with Phen375 fat burner.
While your new healthy diet may be helping you to lose weight, it may not fall off as quickly as you would like with diet alone, so give it a boost with the help of Phen375 – it may be just what you need to see faster, better results. Seeing those results will boost your self-esteem, keep you motivated and allow to enjoy watching that weight melt off!
Note: Phen375™ is a pharmacy grade weight loss pill that synthesizes hormones and compounds in the body that decrease the body’s ability to store fat and increase the body’s ability to burn stored fat reserves. The Phen375 tablets have been carefully measured to be safe for the body in the recommended doses. (See Safely Using Phen375)
